Using Email in Gnatta

This article will provide an insight into Email in Gnatta and the features that are available to you.

Channel Overview

When you add your Email account (see adding channels here) the most important stream to add is your Inbox (Inbound Mail Inbox).

Once the account has been added the triggers for new messages will be available in Workflow (see our guide on handling new messages here).

There are different types of accounts you can add; POP3, IMAP, SMTP and Internal. Using the Internal type will create you a new email account in Gnatta – you’ll be able to set your own prefix for this email.

Setting up an internal email account, you can also forward mail from your current mail provider into Gnatta, amend your SPF record as detailed here. Once that has been verified we can alter the email address of the internal account to match your email address and send mail on your behalf.

Email Signatures can be added by going from Configuration Menu>Media Accounts>Global Settings>Email> Email Signatures.

Here you can create multiple signatures to be used on different media accounts, teams, or users.
